What is the difference between an ACEA designation (Green Belt) and a CEA designation (Black Belt)?

UPDATED 12/19: An ACEA (Associate Certified Enterprise Architect) designation is awarded after completion of our Green Belt program.

A CEA (Certified Enterprise Architect) designation is awarded after completion of our Black Belt program. ACEAs are eligible to complete the entire CEA program up to 2 years after completion of their ACEA certification.

Certification is awarded after candidates successfully complete all requirements of the program, defend their practicum and pass the FEAC™ Certification Examinations. This Certification demonstrates their professional level of competence and proficiency in the practice of Enterprise Architecture.

Each certification must be maintained in order to remain its currency and relevancy in the industry. That requirement is 60 EADUs (Enterprise Architecture Development Units) and a $99 recertification fee every three years.
