FAQs

What is the difference between Certification and a Certificate?

UPDATE 12/19: Certification is awarded after candidates successfully complete all requirements in a specific CEA Black Belt or ACEA Green Belt or Zachman® Certification Program and pass the appropriate Certification Examinations. This Certification demonstrates their professional level of competence and proficiency in the practice of Enterprise Architecture.

An ACEA (Associate Certified Enterprise Architect) designation is awarded after completion of our Green Belt program. A CEA (Certified Enterprise Architect) designation is awarded after completion of our Black Belt program. ACEAs are eligible to complete the entire CEA program up to 2 years after completion of their ACEA certification.

A Certificate attests that someone has completed a course of study or attended a determined amount of hours of instruction. FEAC™ provides certificates upon completion for our Introduction to Enterprise Architecture course, our Foundations in Enterprise Architecture course or any of our On-demand SelfStudy courses.
